On Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2:26pm, our most beloved “King of Pop”, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead. He was 50. Michael Jackson was the ‘Barack Obama of Pop Music’ and not only will his musical legacy live on forever, so will his unique style and spectacular wardrobe. Michael Jackson’s silouette can be recognized worldwide and just like his music, may very well never be matched by anyone in our lifetime.
Just recently, in April 2009, an array of treasures from Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch ranging from Michael Jackson’s iconic white-jeweled glove to the grandiose entry gates to Neverland Ranch were presented in a tour de force public exhibition conducted by Julien’s Auctions in Los Angeles. I can only imagine how much those items skyrocketed in value now that he has passed!
